Author: Sawyer Bennett
Series: The Wicked Horse #1
~ SYNOPSIS ~
Never in your wildest dreams could you begin to imagine all the filthy and depraved things that go on inside The Wicked Horse. Step inside and Woolf Jennings will make every one of your dirty fantasies come true.
He’s covered in a facade of deception. An enticing blend of multi-millionaire and hot-as-hell Wyoming rancher, those that think they know Woolf Jennings admire his abilities to preside as CEO of his family’s cattle and oil empire. But only a privileged few truly understand what fuels the glitter of depravity in those gorgeous blue eyes. Only a few know he’s opened up a sinfully erotic and private sex club named The Wicked Horse right at the base of the beautiful Teton Mountain range.
Sweet Callie Hayes has returned home to Wyoming and is looking forward to starting her life over again. After a night of impetuosity, she’s managed to put herself right in Woolf’s line of sight… the man who she foolishly offered up her virginity to years ago and was flatly turned down.
Now Woolf is seeing that Callie is all grown up and has a kinky side to her that leaves him as confused as it does turned on. Worse yet, both Callie’s dirty desires and sweet heart are getting under his skin, and making Woolf question everything he’s ever believed about himself.
~4.5 Stars~
I am going to put this out here:
I. COULDN'T. WAIT. FOR. THIS. BOOK.
I was SO flipping ready for Woolf's story, it's not even funny!! We met him in Tenn's book, Shaken Not Stirred but we didn't get to know too much. Holy Cow. Fan yourself NOW. This guy is insanely hot and ridiculously sexy.
Woolf has a sort of....penchant for kink in his sexual escapades. And YES!! He is hot! He is a dirty talker and there is nothing sexier than a man that can use his mouth. He is a very strong man too. He doesn't need anything or anyone and always has his eye on the next woman to fill his time with. He has never allowed anything to get to him...or so it seems.
~I don't know the why of it, but I fucking need you, Callie.~
Callie's character was VERY strong....I really liked the way she handled herself and the way she brought Woolf to his knees. After her return home, she knew she needed to see what there was out there and what the world had to offer, but it was a scary step to take. Woolf was having NONE of it and it made me SMILE huge!!! She really made him work and squirm and be uncomfortable and I REALLY liked that side of her. She was so hilarious...she is spunky and has wit!
What a world to be shocked by....and then to be so taken by it, but not understanding the emotions that go into it. I loved exploring this with Callie.
LOVED. IT.
~The downside to her working for me is her presence. It's maddening. Her scent, her beauty, her voice.~
This book played out so well and the intro to this new series was awesome. I loved the setting, the premise and the fall out. I loved it all. The *only* thing was....I wanted MORE. I really loved this story. I enjoy SB's style of writing and she is so easy to read. I will say this; after reading this first book....I can NOT wait for a certain someone's book and I will also say that I know the wait will be well worth it!!!
