Series: Love Under the Big Sky, #1
~ SYNOPSIS ~In this new Love Under the Big Sky series from a USA TODAY bestselling author, Cara agrees to tutor her former classmate's nephew—and learns some lessons in love!
Josh King is an expert at running his family’s multi-million dollar ranch in Montana. (And all that outside manual labor has done wonders for sculpting his six-foot-three body, too.) But as sure footed as he is when it comes to the ranch, Josh doesn’t know anything about how to deal with an adolescent boy—so when his twelve-year-old nephew, Seth, is dropped off on his doorstep, looking scared and acting surly as hell, Josh knows he needs help in straightening him out.
Cara Donovan loves her quiet life as a teacher in her sleepy hometown, so she jumps at the chance to make a little money over the summer as a tutor. But when she learns she’ll be teaching Josh King’s nephew, Cara’s sweet summer job gets a little bit hotter. Cara tries to focus all her attention on tutoring Seth, but Josh proves to be a delicious distraction, while Josh’s memories of the shy girl he once teased in high school are nothing like the beautiful woman he’s facing now. Can he persuade her that there’s more between them than a summer fling?

5 Stars!
Oh my word! Kristen
Proby has done it again! Another phenomenal, must read book!!!!! Ahhh!!!
Such a great start to what I know will be a fantastic series!! Super excited
person here!!! *raises hand!* HUGE fan of Kristen Proby! HUUUUUUUUUUUGE! =)
“I love you, Carolina Donovan, more than I
ever thought possible.”
When Cara accepted her summer job, she never imagined just
how much her life would change. Sure, she always thought Josh King was hot, but
that was it. They would see each other around town and they’d wave a polite
‘hello’ here and there, but there really wasn’t anything to it. So really, this
was just a tutoring job. Nothing more, nothing less.
Wrong.
Josh King used to tease Cara (in a silly way) in high
school. So he really didn’t think it would be a big deal to have her tutor his
nephew, Seth, for the summer. He saw her around town, but it wasn’t until she
showed up at his door, that he really noticed
her.
“Your eyes are amazing, Cara.”
“They’re kind of weird,” I whisper.
“No, they’re not weird.” He shakes his head
slowly. “I’ve just never seen eyes that go from amber to hazel to green. I
wonder what color they are when you’re turned on?”
How long can two people hold off from what was clearly
inevitable? Cara tried to keep her
relationship with Josh professional. He was not only her boss – sort of, but
she had to think about Seth and how her situation
with Josh would affect him. For that, I couldn’t really blame her. I mean, poor
Seth!!! No kid should ever have to endure what he did, especially at that age!
I seriously wanted to hug and console him and tell him everything will be okay.
Sigh. My heart broke for Seth...
Well anyway, when Josh wants something, he goes for it, and
he wanted Cara. Their relationship
was sweet and oh so passionate.
Gosh!!!! Josh was swoon-worthy for sure.
He 100% fits what I call the ‘Kristen Proby Men’ type. You know, the romantic
with a very yummy alpha side, type of guy! The kind that is simply put, a
panty-dropper!!!!!!!! The kind that melts your heart!!! *fans self* Should I go
on??? *giggles* Oh, and I’m SURE Ty and Zach are just as yummy!!!!!!!!!
Squueeeee!! I seriously can’t wait to see this series unfold. I really loved all the characters. They
were so down to earth, witty, and easy to relate to.
The story line in Loving
Cara was hands down fantastic and Kristen Proby’s writing style was amazing
as usual. The book flowed smoothly and naturally, and I fully connected
with it. I swooned, squirmed, and fell in love right alongside Cara and Josh. My
heart broke and healed with Seth and Zach, I laughed with Jill and Ty, and I got
angry because of Misty – God, what an
irritating woman!!! Ugh. But really, I
was right there with all the characters… Loved it.
Do yourself a favor
and go buy this book. I promise you will not be disappointed. And
even though this is book one in the series, it does have its happy ending,
so feel free to one-click! I can’t wait for book two – Ty and Lauren’s story!!
I highly recommend Loving Cara to everyone!!
Like always, Kristen
Proby, you did a marvelous job!!!!
