5 Stars!
This is
book two in the Legal Affairs and it was just as good, if not better than, the
first book!! How, you say? Well, for one…I laughed really HARD at some of the
happenings in this book and it really was comical. It added such comedy to raw
sexiness, it just worked. Mac is starting to see that Matt really, really enjoys her company in the bedroom….like
REALLY. On top of the comedy ramping up a bit, we
really got to see the ‘other’ side to Matt as well….and ladies, he’s a jealous
man!! Oooh!!
“So what
if he was touching me?” I whisper.
The golden
tones in Matt’s eyes turn a deep shade of amber, and he steps in even closer,
now only a mere inch or so separating our bodies. “Because it should be my
hands that are on your body…only mine.”
This
coming from the guy that said their “affair” had to end!!! I love the turn in this and the whole book
just made me giggle and smile…I love that he has NO self-control when it comes
to her. Hahaha! I definitely love his alpha personality with her and his
ability to push her, knowing full well what she wants.
There were
some very
interesting twists and turns in this book and the little cliffhanger at the end
of this book has me super anxious for book 3! Once again, Sawyer nailed it!!
This little series is awesome! The best
part about it is, I know that I have more coming in TWO weeks only, and it
reads like a full length book. It is descriptive and doesn’t leave out any
details…it’s very easy to get sucked in!
