Review:
4.5 Stars
A beautifully written addition to a fantastic story! Will
Ryan will always make my heart swoon.
That man is just…perfect. I absolutely love him and he’ll forever hold a
special place in my heart. And what’s even more perfect? Sweet Little Thing is written in Will’s point of view!!! Ahhhh!!! *happiest sigh ever*
“…something came alive in me the day I met
you. It was so strong a force that I knew completely and with all my heart that
you would be in my life forever.” – Will
This novella continues the story of Will and Mia. Happily
engaged living life the way they want
to live it -- creating beautiful and meaningful music. Everything is perfect.
They are planning their wedding in complete bliss. Until, they get a little
surprise. Queue the mini panic attack. They certainly were not expecting to be expecting so soon. But when two people
love each other like Mia and Will do, it’s them against the world and they win
each and every time. Their connection runs so
deep that their souls are entwined. They just get each other. They complete
each other.
“We
have everything we need right here, between us”
Even though this is a short and sweet read, Renee Carlino
manages to fully portray the depth of Will’s love for Mia. The way he loves her,
truly and deeply, leaves me breathless at the turn of every page. You can tell
he has a heart of gold. Simply put, Will is as wonderful as ever. He not only protects Mia from bad things, but
helps her…guides her through ‘sticky’ situations, even if he is internally
freaking out.
This novella has swoon-worthy, sexy, and emotional moments.
Heck, it even has funny (laugh-out-loud-funny) moments. I mean, the fart
scene?? Ha!!! I totally laughed! And that’s just to mention ONE funny
part.
Sweet Little Thing is
honestly a wonderful conclusion to Will and Mia’s beautiful journey. I am in
love with that ending. It’s 100% them. Perfect. I got my full closure and my
heart is completely happy. I highly recommend you buy Sweet Thing and Sweet Little
Thing. They are both must read books! Once you meet Will Ryan, your life
will not be the same. That guy…. Dreamy sigh.
“We can find our people, love, respect them,
and then hang on for dear life because it’s not where you go on this journey
but who you’re with that matters the most.” – Mia

Uprooting herself from Ann Arbor to New York City, Mia takes over her father's café, a treasured neighborhood institution that plays host to undiscovered musicians and artists. About the author:
Renee Carlino
Renee’s first friends were the imaginary kind and even though her characters haven’t gone away, thankfully the delusions have. She admits she’s a wildly hopeless romantic and she blames 80’s movies staring Molly Ringwald for that. She lives in Southern California with her husband, two sons, and their sweet dog June. When she’s not at the beach with her boys or working on the next book, she likes to spend her time reading, going to concerts, and eating dark chocolate.
