4.5 Stars

**If you have not read No Turning Back, do not go forward, do not pass go, do not collect $200. **

WOW!!! This book started out right where we left off at the cliffhanger in book one and the book kept going at a great pace. This book was very enjoyable….I sat down and read straight through it. I needed to find out what happened!! As you recall, Joe screwed up royally by going behind Charley’s back and breaking her trust completely in book one. It was a shiesty thing to do, but we got to see that Joe had such deep remorse. He was feeling SO bad for what he did to Charley; he just wanted to make it better. To go from what they had to what they lost, that was a head spinner. My heart really hurt for Joe, but Charley as well. Cash just got caught up in the drama as well….3 hearts hurting. I loved her and Cash together, but I loved the sizzle between Joe and Charley as well. So I was blindsided, to say the least.

Charley goes home for the winter break and that is where the meat of this story mainly takes place. It is all during that time where things started to finally take shape. It was so great to see Charley finally admit to herself and Cash where her heart truly lies….and that was with him. Their affections and emotions are so pure. I love seeing such an innocent love blossom.

“Char-coal, you are like my piece of heaven here on Earth.” Cash

“I love Cash Money. There, I said it, I meant it, and I want the damn t-shirt.” ~Char

However, only one thing stood in the way and that was Dylan’s “hold” over her. Dylan wasn’t going to let her go on any account, and he certainly is a little deranged, to say the least. He is warped in the head!! But Charley isn’t going to take his bullying and meddling ways laying down….OH NO! She was going to make sure he paid the price. Knowing what Dylan did to Charley, she was dead set on making him pay for what he had done to her. Me, personally? I would have never done what she had….the girl has balls!! She was going to make Dylan regret ever doing what he did. So, with Cash, Tessa, Piper and all her Kluft girls, she set out to break free from Dylan’s control.

The attempt got really sticky in some situations, and by the end I noticed I had shredded two fingernails down!!! It was a nail biter and I literally did NOTHING while I read this book. It was really hard to see how far Charley would go to and to see Cash hurt in the process….it was so heart-string-pulling, but I knew they loved each other. I just knew I had something to look forward to. We got to see the strength of a deep love that will pull you through anything, friendships that are real and true, and family that loves you no matter what.

“Have I told you lately I love you like crazy, girl”? ~Cash

I love Cash. I love how he loves Charley. I love how he does whatever SHE wants, to make HER happy, and all with a pure heart! He doesn’t get angry at her, he doesn’t get angry at the situation, he just goes with it with all the support he has to offer. He is the epitome of a good man. Charley is one lucky gal!

This truly was a great book, from start to finish, and the ending wasn’t a cliffhanger like book one was. I was smiling at the end, but I am also VERY excited to get the final book in spring. I can’t wait to see what the conclusion is and what happened afterwards….it’s going to be gooooood!!!

“I’ll be with you until the end and forever.” ~Cash

“I promise you, Char-coal. You already have my heart and soul and that will not change. I love you.”

I have to say this book had a GREAT start to it after the way No Turning Back ended. Great start!! It took me a minute to remember everything that had happened, but it eventually worked itself out and the author did a really good job getting us caught back up after a 6 month break. I am hearing/reading that the final book, Loving Charley, will be out this spring!! That book will be an epic conclusion that this whole story has been leading up to!! I am so excited!!

This book was an easy 4.5 balsy stars!!

Love
