Book Review: Reflected in You by Sylvia Day

Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2)
(Crossfire, Book 2)

Synopsis:

Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn't stay away. I didn't want to. He was my addiction... my every desire... mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful... except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.

We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession..

Review:
6 ANGSTY STARS

“I couldn't imagine that I’d ever fall in love again like I had with Gideon. For better or worse, he was my soul mate. The other half of me. In many ways, he was my reflection.”

This book was just pure perfection!!!!!!!
I've read it three times! THREE! and I still get the same rush of emotions I got the first time!  It's that good! .. hell, it's that phenomenal!
Heart-racing.. gasping for air..heart-wrenching.. palms sweating.. Oh Lord.. and talk about ANGST!!!!!!!!!!! There aren't enough words to describe how much I loved this book!!..

and Gideon..????
 I freaking LOVE.. LOVE-HIM!

“I didn't know I was looking for anything until I saw you.”

“I’m obsessed with you, angel. Addicted to you. You’re everything I’ve ever wanted or needed, everything I’ve ever dreamed of. You’re everything. I live and breathe you. For you.”

“His kisses were gifts. He kissed with everything he had, with power and passion and hunger and love. He held nothing back, giving everything, exposing everything."

Gideon and Eva are both so broken, but yet, they are perfect together! And the fact that they are just crazy about each other makes everything even better. and yes, they are my favorite book couple.. ever!

“You know what happens when you run angel. I catch you.”

“The simple fact was, Gideon and I were the best and worst things that had ever happened to each other.”

“Angel, if I needed you more, I couldn’t function. And I don’t care what anyone else thinks. We’ve got our own rhythm and it works for us.”

In this book, we could appreciate a lot of character development. Both Gideon and Eva really changed and 'grew' towards the end.. but mind you, it took a lot of moments where I just wanted to throw my Kindle against the wall!!!!! Enter .. Corrine!! GGGRRRRR!!!
Boy.. I've never screamed while reading a book! Like, literally yelling and throwing pillows!!! (Yeah, hubby was home from training.. after 3 months away.. and he saw me not at my finest moment.. gotta love him). Aaaanyways.. That character totally pissed me the eff off! I could sense my ears burning from the rage anger I was feeling!!!
*deeeeeepppp cleansing breath*
Just trust me, you'll HATE her.

There are more secrets sort of revealed and a lot of plot twists!!!! Definitely a suspenseful story line.

If you haven't read this book.. you HAVE to.!!
but of course.. you need to start with Bared to You, which is book 1 in the Crossfire Series.

"Where do we go from here?"
I held him. "Wherever this takes us. Together.”

Bared to You (Crossfire, #1)

(Crossfire Series, Book 1)

Synopsis:

Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness…

He was beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I’d never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily…

Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other’s most private wounds…and desires. The bonds of his love transformed me, even as I prayed that the torment of our pasts didn't tear us apart...
