Second Chance Boyfriend
(One Week Girlfriend #2)
Synopsis:
**Recommended for ages 17+ due to sexual content and language, mature subject matter** New Adult Contemporary
Lost. That one single word best describes my life at this very moment. I lost the last games of the season and both my team and my coach blame me. I lost the last two months because I drowned in my own despair like a complete loser. And I lost the only girl who ever mattered because I was afraid being with me would destroy her.
But now I realize how truly lost I am without her. She has become my story…and even though she acts like she’s moved on, I know she still thinks about me just as much as I think about her. She’s beautiful, sweet—and so damn vulnerable, all I want to do is help her. Be there for her.
Love her…
If only I could convince Fable to give me a second chance. Then I wouldn’t feel so lost anymore, and neither would she. We could be found together.
Forever.

Two months later..
Drew and Fable are still not together and very much unhappy..
Full of regrets and insecurities, Drew chose to stay away from Fable, the one girl that made him want to feel.. the one girl he's ever loved.. but now it was time for him to get her back..
"Maybe it was a mistake leaving you.
And I don't know how to make it right.
Regret fills me every single day.
So much of it build up I
Hate myself for
Missing you. Hurting you.
And I want you to know I...
Long for you
Love you
Others may come and go in our lives but...
We belong together."
"For a girl
As pretty as she deserves the
Best. No more
Lies. She is my
Everything"
Could Drew be any more swoony and romantic?????
This book basically takes us along the journey of Drew and Fable adjusting to their relationship... of learning to trust that they can depend on each other and have it not be a bad thing.
"Fine. I've always run away in the past. But you, Fable. You make me want to stay."
"She's all I want. All I'll ever want."
"My arms literally ache to comfort her. Pull her into a hug and tell her everything's going to be okay."
DRAMA DRAMA!! A lot of things happen to them and basically they have to learn how to cope together, how to overcome challenges together.. how to have a "normal relationship" in the midst of their screwed up realities. MORE DRAMA!
"I have no more secrets with you. At least none that I know of. I've bared my soul to you. I've got nothing to hide."
"Neither do I," I confess softly. "Yet here we still are. Together."
I really love Drew and Fable. They definitely made my list of favorite book couples!!
I also LOVE Owen!!! He's just so sweet! so protective of his sister! even at 14 years of age!!!! I mean what kid punches a quarterback?? OWEN! I'm so glad he's getting his own book!!
SEE THE LAST COMMENT??
Anyway..
This book was also narrated in both POVs and I also consider it a page turner just like "One Week Girlfriend". I mean with a psycho bitch in the characters, how can there not be any drama??
Regarding the ending...
I really liked how it ended.. BUT I wish there was more!!!
There really wasn't a epilogue..(downer for me) just a fast forward to months later. I guess you can consider that an epilogue? *sigh*
I really wish there was a book 3 about Drew and Fable because I feel that there's so much more to their story. I can't get enough of them!!!
So PLEASE MONICA MURPHY.. PLEASE write another book about them!??
PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE WITH MARSHMALLOWS ON TOP!?
OH! and also.. a book about Colin and Jen would also be pretty awesome too!!
Am I asking too much? hahahha
I freaking loved these books!!!! GO READ THEM PEOPLE! :)

(One Week Girlfriend #1)
Synopsis:
Synopsis:
Breakout sensation Monica Murphy takes the New Adult genre by storm with the deeply emotional, completely addicting story of Drew and Fable.
Temporary. That’s the word I’d use to describe my life right now. I’m temporarily working double shifts—at least until I can break free. I’m temporarily raising my little brother—since apparently our actual mother doesn’t give a crap about either of us. And I always end up as nothing but the temporary girlfriend—the flavor of the week for every guy who’s heard the rumor that I give it up so easily.
At least Drew Callahan, college football legend and local golden boy, is upfront about it. He needs someone to play the part of his girlfriend for one week. In exchange for cash. As if that’s not weird enough, ever since he brought me into his world, nothing really makes sense. Everyone hates me. Everyone wants something from him. And yet the only thing Drew seems to want is . . . me.
I don’t know what to believe anymore. Drew is sweet, sexy, and hiding way more secrets than I am. All I know is, I want to be there for him—permanently.
