Girl in Love
(Kylie Ryans #3)
Synopsis:
She's living her dream...
Kylie Ryans is the biggest thing to come out of Nashville since, well, since Trace Corbin. With a hit album and a powerful label behind her, she appears to be the girl who has it all.
But appearances can be deceiving.
Fresh out of rehab, Trace Corbin is ready to take on the world. Just not the girl he walked away from. Because if there's one thing he knows for certain, it's that the people you love are the ones who have the power to destroy you.
As their worlds collide, they'll have to make the ultimate choice. Follow their dreams, or give it all up for love.
They say love conquers all, but for Kylie and Trace, it just might wreck everything they've worked for.
Review:
5 Stars
An amazing conclusion to a fantastic series!! Caisey Quinn
did an astounding job! I absolutely loved this book!! Well, the entire Kylie
Ryans Series, to be honest. It’s a bitter-sweet feeling because I was dying to
read this book, yet I’m sad it’s over.
To avoid spoilers, since this is after all, the final book
in the series, I will not go into the story line specifically. I will say however, that Girl in Love was incredible. If you
haven’t read the first two books, stop here and go buy them!!! Believe me, you want to meet Trace Corbin!
“I’m pretty sure you already know we’re
nowhere near done here.”
Kylie and Trace. Sigh.
I LOVE them!!!! They both have so many amazing qualities I love in individual characters
and book couples. They’re strong,
witty, sexy, and madly in love with other to the point that as a reader, I felt
it in my bones. They both had a lot of “growing up” to do, and in my opinion,
their character development in this book was perfect. We saw both Kylie and
Trace face certain challenges they needed to overcome in order be stronger, whole.
“Her touch would undo him. Undo everything he’d
fought to overcome. But damn if he didn’t want it more than air. More than
music. More than anything.”
After the ending in Girl
on Tour -- book two, I knew Trace and Kylie would not have an easy road
ahead of them, but Caisey Quinn sure made every heartache worth it. This was a
book full of passion and emotional angst. I seriously did not want to put it
down. I loved how both their feelings
and reactions were very natural and realistic.
Kylie was heartbroken…truly and deeply. I loved how she in a
way, made Trace “work for it”. I know she was as stubborn as she was talented,
but I never once thought their separation was dragged out. Yes, Kylie
frustrated me at times, but I also realized that she needed to really overcome the fact that she felt
so betrayed by Trace. She needed to learn how to trust him…to finally, believe
in them. Truly know that they could and would
make it.
“I swear to God, if I ever get to hold you
again, I will never let you go. Ever.”
Sometimes it was one step forward, three steps back with
these two, but like I said, Caisey makes everything worth it. I absolutely
loved the fact that this series started and ended with a bang. It kept me
intrigued and emotionally invested all along…from book one through book three. My heart is really happy.
That ending was beautiful. Seriously, I could not have asked
for a better one for Kylie and Trace. To me, it’s always a major plus when I get full
closure where all the characters are concerned…not just the main ones.
Although… ahem, a book about Steven
would not be so bad. *giggles*
If you haven’t started this series, do yourself a favor and
one-click ALL of the three books! They are all equally phenomenal! Caisey
knocked it out of the park! Five bright stars!!
“…sometimes you have to choose love.”
