Review:
4.5 Stars

"Camryn, you are the other half of my soul, and I will love you today and every day for the rest of our lives." - Andrew

After many, many, many months of dying to read this book, I finally got around to doing it and I am SO happy I did. (Thanks Bethany for buddy-reading it with me!!)

I am one hundred percent certain that Andrew Parrish will forever hold a special place in my heart

I absolutely LOVED book one, The Edge of Never!! I seriously devoured it, so when the author first announced the sequel -- The Edge of Always, I literally screamed from excitement. Book one ended in a beautiful place, but of course, I wanted to see more of Cam and Andrew. I wanted to see what the future held for them. And with this book, I got just that. I got my full closure and my heart is truly happy.

"You're the world to me," I whisper onto her lips. "I hope you never forget that."
- Andrew
The Edge of Always picked up a few months after book one ended and from the get-go I was right back with these characters, immersed in their story. I loved seeing them happy and in love because they truly deserved it. They had been through SO much already that I felt like they needed to have true, care-free happiness in their lives. I will be really honest, though...I was SO unbelievably nervous for them. I knew something was going to happen because like the synopsis very well says:

"They have so much to look forward to-until tragedy blindsides them."

So really, I was tense, hesitant, and hands down, afraid. I just knew my heart was going to break and I knew it would be soon.

 And then, it happened.

I had an inkling that THAT would be the cause of their new pain and troubles, so while I felt really sad for them, I wasn't shocked. Honestly, I thought I would feel worse than what I really did. I thought I would be crying and devastated....and I wasn't. But I'm glad, don't get me wrong. My heart had already been put through the ringer in book one and that was more than enough heart-ache for me, thank you very much. But still, what they were going through was in fact a heartbreaking situation. I felt badly for them. It was like their happy ending kept getting further and further.......

"We've been through so much together. More than most people in such a short time. But no matter what, the one thing that has never changed is that we're still together."

Andrew and Camryn had a strong relationship. Their love ran so incredibly deep that I had no doubt they would overcome all their new troubles together. Their love is unlike any other. It's pure...palpable....I felt it in my heart. And once again, Andrew proved to be one of the dreamiest male lead characters to date. He truly did anything and everything for the love of his life. He guided her and helped her heal... not just from their present situation, but from all the burdens she had been carrying for years.

"I study her eyes and her mouth and let my fingertips follow every path that my eyes take. She is so beautiful to me. So goddamn beautiful." - Andrew

Andrew Parrish made me melt, plain and simple. The way he proved he knew, like really knew, Camryn was to me, epic. I was in love with how much he loved her. Another plus for me was the fact that since book one, their relationship was different from those I've seen in many books. It's rather refreshing, honestly. I LOVED their traveling, laid-back lifestyle...LOVED IT, really. I connected with it and enjoyed it since the very beginning.

Towards the end, I felt like I was at the edge of my seat literally holding my breath expecting the worse to happen. I was honestly about to have an anxiety attack! But I kept praying and hoping for the best..... It was as if I was reading with one eye open, scared of what I might read next.

And then....my heart smiled. I got my wish. Once I finished reading, I kept thinking about this book, the characters, and their journey. The more I thought about it, the happier I felt with the overall story line. I am SO SO SO glad I got this book. It truly wraps up everything for Camryn and Andrew. I am incredibly sad to see them go, but I am beyond satisfied with how their story ended.

I highly recommend you read this series.

"Our story is over, yes, but our journey isn't, because we'll always live on the edge until the day we die."

P.S
Their is a spin-off book, Song of the Fireflies, (out now!) which is about Elias and Bray. Characters we met during a very crazy beach scene in this book.
I will definitely be reading that one, too!
