Guest Book Review: "I Remember You" by Scarlett Metal

I Remember You

Synopsis:

Lance never got over his teenage love despite years of trying to forget her with alcohol, music, and other women.

Samantha dated lots of different guys after Lance, guys most girls would love to have even a chance with. No one can make her happy though; she compares them all to Lance.

Fate brings them together when Lance is in town for some family business. They end up spending a passionate night together but can they be more? Can they finally find their happily ever after?

Contains adult situations and language. Appropriate for ages 18+.

Review:
3.5 Stars

This was a very short, quick and to the point book. It has its HEA, and it makes you smile. Was there a lot of depth to it? Not really....but how *deep* can you get in 75 pages? Character growth is very stunted, but again...it was short. It really wasn't that bad of a book.....it could have been made into a full novel and been a great book. I honestly and truly loved the epilogue.....that's when I got the chills and the smiles.

We follow Lance and Sam's journey over 10 quick years from them being in love as a young teenage couple to being emotionally torn apart, a chance meeting years later and a reconciliation of epic proportions.

Fun little book. Worth the 45 minutes or so you spend on it.
If you want a quick read, with some smiles and a HEA, this is it.

Love,
 Bethany
