(Others of Edenton, Book 1)
Synopsis:
Synopsis:
Fallon is a brilliant tattoo artist with inherent magic. Tired of men and their games, she climbs onto her Harley and leaves her old life behind.
Brody is a talented motorcycle mechanic and werewolf stuck in his painful past. It's just another depressing night until he's attacked by vampires. Thinking he killed them, he runs into the night and crashes into Fallon.
Unwilling to walk away from anyone in need, she heals Brody and then takes out the vampires who aren't as dead as he thought. Her past collides with the present, and she finds herself stranded in Edenton, Washington where an old friend lives. With no ride and no real plan, she winds up staying in Brody's empty apartment.
Feeling alive for the first time in years, Brody is determined to claim Fallon's heart and keep her safe from the shadows in her past. However, she prides herself on her independence and would rather keep him safe, even from herself.
With the impending danger from the group of vampires and dark mages, they will have to work together. The closer they get, the harder it is for her to fight her attraction.
Be prepared for monsters, magic and lots of ink.

4.5 - 5 Stars
"He looks at you like you're the only woman who exists."
I want to start off by saying that I lost my Paranormal Romance genre V-card to this book and I'm glad it happened. At first, I was very hesitant to read it since I feared I wouldn't be able to get passed the paranormal aspect of it. But I am beyond thrilled I was wrong. This was truly a great read. The story line and the characters were intriguing and very well developed.
Fallon, the female leading character, is one tough chick!!!! Her gifts and abilities are just part of the reason she's such a badass. I mean, she'd been through hell and back and yet, she was as strong as ever. Loved her personality and the fact that she always spoke her mind. Due to her past, the last thing Fallon expected was to fall in love, but destiny always gets her way. Enter hot, protective yet gentle, werewolf, Brody.
"I'm not making a pass, I swear. But I'd be lying if I said you weren't absolutely gorgeous."
"His tongue swept over his lips and she began to think trouble was spelled B-R-O-D-Y."
"She was his, she was meant to be with him, a part of him. He just had to convince her that he belonged to her."
So many things happened during this book that kept me turning the pages wanting to figure things out. Then again, what can you expect from a book with characters made up of witches, druids, vampires, were-animals and more? Drama! Action! Angst! Oh! and let's not forget passion!! Because yes, there are some very passionate and HOT sex scenes!!
".. "I can't hold back," he said through clenched teeth. "Don't. I need hard." She ended on a cry as he pounded into her."
The way the book was narrated allowed me to connect to all the characters... all of them. Even the ones I seriously disliked, I couldn't help but feel something for them. That just goes to show how well "In Too Deep" was written. The scenes were very well described, so I had absolutely no problem visualizing them through out the book.
I really liked the way this book ended and I'm very much looking forward to reading more about Brody and Fallon and the rest of the characters. I'm interested in seeing where life takes them after all the things they faced in this book.
"I've got you. I'm yours. I'm never letting you go."
The next book is a prequel about Jess, Fallon's psychic best friend and Slater, the werewolf's pack Alpha, both of whom we met in "In Too Deep".
If you are a Paranormal Romance virgin, like I was, I recommend you read this book. It may really change your opinion about this genre.
Thank you Brandy for taking a chance on me and allowing me to read your book!
***A copy of "In Too Deep" was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thanks Brandy!!
