Blog Tour Stop + Giveaway: "See Jane Fall" by Katy Regnery

See Jane Fall
(Heart of Montana #3)
SYNOPSIS:
When Trend magazine contracts Lindstrom & Sons to manage a fashion shoot in Yellowstone, easygoing Lars Lindstrom rolls his eyes at the assignment. “Babysitting” supermodel Samara Amaya’s assistant for a week sounds like a snore, even amidst the park's lush wildlife and scenery. Little does he know that spending time with Jane Mays, Samara’s down-to-earth, smart-mouthed assistant and cousin, will be the most exciting week he's ever spent. Her smoky voice and surprisingly sweet heart are everything he never knew he wanted.

Jane has been hurt before, but this time her handsome tour guide seems a perfect match. From loving the same music to some effortlessly sexy sparring, Lars "gets" her, and Jane can't seem to keep herself from falling for him...until Samara blows into town. Used to living in Samara's shadow, Jane knows that Lars will be nothing more than a notch in a bedpost if the spoiled supermodel has her way. In the past, maybe she would have stepped aside. This time, Jane'll find the strength to stand up to her cousin once and for all…and trust that Lars will be there to catch her if she falls.

Review:
4.5 - 5 Stars!

Gosh. I will say this now and hopefully one day get to prove it…. The day I meet Katy Regnery, I will fan-girl my butt off!!!!! So far, I’ve read ALL of her books and LOVED each and every one! And See Jane Fall did NOT disappoint.

This book can technically be read as a standalone since it focuses on a new couple -- Lars and Jane, BUT I recommend you read them all in order. It will allow you to connect even more with the entire cast of characters, I think.

“I’m falling for you, Jane.”

Jane…sweet, good-hearted, down to earth, and vulnerable. Sometimes, my heart literally and physically ACHED for Jane and the situations she found herself in. However, there were other times where I wanted to shake her….or smack her. I wanted to tell her to WAKE UP and smell the roses because she was really missing out. Her cousin/boss, Samara, was downright mean and beyond selfish. I hated her. Ugh! She was used to getting things her way…every time. She didn’t care if she trampled Jane to be happy. All she cared about was her own selfish needs. And unfortunately, Jane never put up any kind of fight. She let Samara treat her like dirt. THAT pissed me off. I wanted to punch Samara and then smack Jane for allowing her cousin to mistreat her that way. However, I guess I understand why Jane put up with it. I mean, that was all the family she had left.

Samara had a photo shoot scheduled in Montana. Jane, being the best assistant EVER, traveled there a few days before Samara to get things ready for her. Let’s just say, Samara was VERY high maintenance.

Enter Lars.

Lars. Lars, Lars… LARS. My God, he is by far the yummiest Lindstrom! He was not only physically HOT and sexy, but humble, funny, and oh so dreamy! Seriously -- Lars Lindstrom, melting panties, one pair at a time. Gah!!! I fell in love with him right off the bat. Lars was in charge of getting things ready for “the talent” and her crew in Montana. He was basically the tour guide and the one that would take them to the huge park where the photo shoot would take place.

Jane and Lars were alike, which is why they quickly connected. They were both so real and simple. They weren’t high maintenance or even remotely close. They had a lot of similar interests and just….clicked. As simple as that. As the days passed and they spent more and more time together, they started to develop feelings for each other. Problem? Jane had already been burned once. She had fallen for someone during one of Samara’s shoots and as soon as he saw Samara, he forgot all about ‘Plain Jane’. Scared that her heart might get broken again, she pushed Lars away.

Things were not easy for Lars and Jane. Misunderstandings, miscommunication, and hurt feelings played a HUGE role in their story. Not to mention SAMARA. Boy did she screw things up for them!!!! Suffice it to say there was a lot of emotional angst throughout the plot – which I LOVE.

“Jane. All I ever wanted – from the beginning – was you.”

As usual, this was a great read. One that I highly recommend to all romance readers. It was sweet, moving, and written very well. There were even quite a few sexy scenes in there too!  In all honesty, Katy Regnery managed to captivate me with yet another book! I can’t wait for the next installment in this series. Go read this book!
