~ SYNOPSIS ~
She was running toward her future. He was running from his past. When their worlds collided, nothing could prepare them for what was to come.
Reeling from Luke’s betrayal, Embry Jacobs is lost and looking for answers. His lies have ripped them apart, forcing her to question everything she thought she knew about the man she loves. But to give Luke another chance, she’ll have to forgive his lies and risk her already fragile heart.
Luke Brody’s past has finally caught up to him — in more ways than one. After losing the only woman he’s ever loved, he’ll do anything to get her back. But when he finally has the chance to make things right, unforeseen circumstances threaten to tear them apart once more.
When the truth comes out, will it set them free or break them both?
I am almost
done with Unbroken and it’s
everything I hoped for and more. I first read Undone last year before it even came out, so to say I’ve been itching to get my hands on the
continuation of Luke and Embry’s story is the
understatement of the year. Yes, this is a sequel
so you have to read book one before this one.
Luke….oh, Luke!! R.E. Hunter did an AMAZING job with
this guy!!! Talk about swoon-worthy!
His love for Embry was as clear as day and I loved how much he loved her. He gave anything and
everything for Embry…for her happiness, her safety…everything.
After the ending in Undone, my heart
ached for Luke. While I understood the fact that he screwed up, I also knew he
didn’t do it out of spite. He made a mistake, period. So when Embry came around
and accepted the fact that she simply could not live without Luke, I was beyond
elated for them! Point 1 for true love!
“Without
you, my heart would continue beating, but I don’t think I’d ever feel alive
again. You give my life meaning.”
Along the way, RE Hunter gave us angst, drama, sexy
times, and even some humor. This book really had it all; the storyline kept me engrossed
and the characters were AMAZING! Their banter and chemistry was very realistic
and completely relatable. I absolutely adored Morgan!!!! She made me giggle and
flat out laugh several times with her sarcastic remarks.
Okay, enough gushing for now. I’m off to work and then
finish reading this phenomenal book!! I can’t wait to see how Luke and Embry’s
story ends!!
~ An updated review will be posted as soon as I finish
reading.
