Oh...my...gosh.
I am suffering from the MOTHER OF ALL BOOK HANGOVERS! Wow. Come to Me
Recklessly by AL Jackson was pure
perfection!!! A true work of art! How am I supposed to start another book
now?? I’m a wreck! Christopher and Samantha had such a passionate and beautifully
heartbreaking story!! WOW. I’m quite honestly at a loss for words right now. I
just….wow. I ADORED THIS BOOK.
AL Jackson is the queen of angst and emotional story
lines.
Oh...my...goodness! I started the book last night, slept for a few hours, woke
up today and FINISHED IT. I literally could NOT. STOP. READING. Wow!!! SIX BEAUTIFUL STARS!!!
For the past
year(ish), life has gotten utterly crazy for me and regardless of how amazing a
book is, it will most likely take me days to read it. That was NOT the case
here. I could not put down this book. Not even if my life depended on it. I
went to bed late reading and woke up eerily early just so that I could read
some more… and then, BAM. I was done. Now mind you, this was not a short book
and I am probably one of the slowest readers out there, LOL, so for me to say
that I DEVOURED a book in a matter of hours is something huge.

Come to Me Recklessly is book 3 in the Closer to You series. While
books 1 and 2 focus on Jared (oh, Jared!)
and Aly (Christopher’s sister), Christopher played a huge role in those books,
just as Aly and Jared had massive roles in this one. THIS is why I would HIGHLY
recommend you read the books in order. Christopher’s character captured my
attention from the very first installment. I just KNEW he had a story and OMG –
what a story!!

Samantha and Christopher had fallen in love in high school. It was a
pure, passionate, life-long love, but a series of tragic events won the battle
against them. Fast forward to several years later, their paths crossed once
again.
“No,
Samantha. You just make me better. You can’t see all my ugly when I’m
surrounded by your light.”
In true AL Jackson fashion, there was a TON of angst that made my heart
ACHE. Hell, it BROKE my heart. The sexual tension between them both was
palpable. I just KNEW they still loved each other – madly and deeply. I FELT it
in my bones. But their reunion was not an easy one. FAR from it, actually. Just
when I thought they would finally be together, something – or someone – would come
between them. I felt like I was holding my breath while reading the entire
book! I was so anxious and nervous!! I NEEDED them to be together. I craved their happy ending! And once they
FINALLY got it??? ***FIREWORKS**** ***HAPPY DANCING**** Sigh. I was an ecstatic reader, to say the least!

I absolutely LOVED seeing Jared and Aly play such an important role
during this book! I enjoyed their group/family dynamic and chemistry. Actually,
if I’m being totally honest, there is not one thing about this book that I did
not love. Like I said earlier, pure perfection!
SIX STARS! Go buy this book…now! You will
not be sorry!! This series is a MUST! As of right now, Come to Me Recklessly is my #1 favorite read of 2015!
