If you have yet to read Come To Me Quietly, book one in The Come Closer Series, I highly suggest you stop reading here. You HAVE to read that book prior to this one. The plot picked up right where book one ended. And trust me, you do NOT want to miss out on meeting Jared. <3

Brilliantly emotional! A.L. Jackson has a way with words that fully grabs you from beginning to end. Come To Me Softly is a beautifully heartbreaking story you MUST read. Can't stress this enough. I fell in love with Jared and Aly in book one, Come To Me Quietly, and now, I'm in #HEA heaven!! Jared is that broken and tortured hero you can't help but root for. I wanted him to get his happy ending so desperately. I craved it. I needed it. Suffice it to say, A.L. Jackson delivered it....with excellence!

Jared was still haunted by his horrible past...by his heavy-as-lead guilt. His memories overshadowed his present......his future. But Aly didn't allow him to give into that darkness. She stood by his side, guided him, and supported him in every way possible. She helped him realize -- truly feel in his heart -- that he belonged there....with her. He'd already taken the very huge, first step. And that was coming back to her, so Aly knew -- she believed -- Jared was home.

Unfortunately, that was easier said than done. Jared didn't want to face his past. He ignored it. He'd rather live pretending nothing happened, yet, he was very much still haunted by everything. So really, how can they move forward when the past was still holding on so strong? How could they really start their family when just the thought of his family broke Jared down?

Trust me, this book was nothing short of an emotional roller coaster. It took me through one hell of a journey and I honestly loved every minute of it. I did NOT want to put this book down. Jared and Aly's story was far from easy in book one, and it was just as tough, if not more, during this one. They faced more challenges that at the end, only brought them closer. Like I mentioned in the beginning, I could not have asked for a better or happier ending. My heart is elated. That ending was simply breathtaking.

This book...hell, this series, truly tugged at my heart. It has left a HUGE mark and I will never forget these characters or their heartfelt journey.

I cannot wait for Christopher's book!!! Seriously....cannot....wait.

I HIGHLY recommend this book!!! HIGHLY.
