Review:
5 Stars
We met Travis as "Julianne's best friend" in book one, How He Really Feels. Throughout that first book, I flat out fell in love with Travis, and during this book- his book, I was simply blown away. He's one swoon worthy guy! Lisa Suzanne did an amazing job while writing a male POV. I completely connected with him.
It's not 100% necessary to read book one for you to be able to read What He Really Feels, which is the second book in the trilogy. I do however, recommend that you do so. It will allow you to have a better grasp and full understanding of "the situation" at hand, where these characters are concerned.
"Sometimes it's just best to start over."
This book starts off in a scene we got in How He Really Feels. That one particular scene where Julianne pissed me off. UGH! We first read it through Jules' POV and now we got the entire story with Travis' side. Let me just say, poor Travis! I felt so bad for him. *sigh* Luckily for Travis, fate was on his side.
Before moving to San Diego, he goes out with his friends to a bar where he happens to meet a mystery woman....Gorgeous. Both of them thinking it would be just a one night stand, they decide to well... you know *wink* Just a one night thing, no strings attached, right? HA! Boy, how wrong were they!
"She's just... She's gorgeous. She's spectacular. She's everything I didn't even know I was looking for and everything I never knew I needed."
Travis, or better yet, "Tiger" as Gorgeous called him, thought he'd never see this woman again. They never exchanged real names or phone numbers, for that matter. So imagine their surprise when they bumped into each other (quite literally) in San Diego!!! Yep. SURPRISE!! Fate had stepped in, once again.
Talk about an anxiety ridden book!!! So many factors kept making things difficult for Travis and Gorgeous, also known as Lindsay, to just be happy and together!!! One of those factors being the one and only, Julianne. Which brings me to my next point. Lisa Suzanne did an incredible job in keeping me very interested in the general story line... not just in Travis' story, but in the whole thing. Like, what will happen with Nick and Julianne? Hell, I'm even curious about Spencer - whom you'll meet in this book.
I was BEYOND thrilled to see Travis FINALLY get the girl!!! Lord knows the poor guy has suffered enough!! But still, I just know there's a lot more to these characters, so I'm VERY curious about the third book. EEEKKKK!!!
Go buy this book!!!!!!
P.S
Oh, and that alphabet game??? SO.FREAKING.CUTE! That is all, carry on :)
"My heart was hopelessly entwined with hers, and now that she was in my life, I was certain she would be forever."
