Brandy L
Rivers is the author whose books I will always compare other Paranormal
Romances to. She has set the bar very high. Her combination of magical beings
with action, suspense, and romance is always top notch. Every time I dive into one of her novels, I
have NO problem whatsoever in fully experiencing the wonders that she shares
with us readers. I become invested in the characters’ lives and problems, and
not just the main ones, but the secondary as well. That’s another amazing
quality Brandy L Rivers has – her characters. I love, love, love seeing all the
characters from the previous installments. They’re this amazing group of
friends (more like family, really) that you can’t help but love and want to be
around all the time.
COMING
TOGETHER is the 5th book in the Others of Seattle Series and while
they can all be read as standalone novels, I would recommend you start from the
very beginning. I’ve been reading them out of order and it’s all still great,
but if you can read them in order, then do so. You will understand everything
even more, I believe.
This book
follows Jackie and Eddie’s story and boy, does it start off HOT. Quickly in the
beginning, we have a scene where we learn that Jackie is a strong heroine. Yes,
she faces challenges along the way, but I loved how strong-willed her character
was. Eddie…oh, Eddie. My heart ached for him in quite a few scenes. The whole Kim situation and then having to admit who he really did love? That wasn’t as easy as it sounds.
There’s so
much action in this book that I had no problem turning page after page. The way
Ms. Rivers developed the plot line and characters was superb! As always, I was
invested in the story and felt like I was at the edge of my seat. Truly
wonderful!
Maybe I should’ve
started off with a disclaimer, admitting that Brandy L. Rivers is one of my TOP
favorite authors and I just know that
I will always love her books. So truly, don’t expect anything lower than a

Brandy L Rivers is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. Her two main series are Others of Edenton and Others of Seattle. She has also written a couple contemporary stories. An avid reader, Brandy has always loved writing. She became serious about it as a stay-at-home-mother.
