More Than I Asked For is a sweet, funny, and light read perfect for a relaxing weekend. There were moments where I giggled and a few where I felt bad for what these characters were going through.
"You are mine. You have been from the first second I laid eyes on you. Get comfortable with that fact."
Lucas and Genevieve met when they least expected it. Hell, Genevieve didn't even remember it all that well. But as they got to really know each other, you could tell they were a perfect match. They were what they both needed in their lives to feel complete.
"Every night since meeting you I fight sleep because you are better than any dream. I love you."
Genevieve's life changed in more ways than one. Quite literally, actually. And what I enjoyed about her character was how she handled all those changes. She wasn't whiny or annoying, but rather took things as they came and reacted in a very mature manner. Her and Lucas' relationship was very loving and swoon-worthy. There were times where things got a little bit angsty and others where things got very HOT.
Something I really enjoyed about this book was the chemistry between ALL the characters -- not just the Lucas and Genevieve. Their siblings/best friends were quite funny! They were all more like a fun and crazy family rather than just a group of friends. I loved their interactions and how well they all seemed to get along and support each other no matter what. I am very much looking forward to the next installment in this series. Can't wait to see what T.J. Tims has up her sleeve.

T.J. Tims
Raised in New Jersey on the shore, TJ began reading romance novels at the age of fourteen when she picked up Elda Minger’s The Dare. From that day forward she hasn’t stopped reading romance novels of all subgenres. While focusing on her career working in a corporate office and reading at night TJ somehow found herself married and pregnant when she paused to breathe between novels. After being laid off and giving birth to her son, she threw herself into being a stay at home mom. One month her husband was very upset at her for spending forty dollars on books when she became “one click” happy, later that evening when doing the math she realized she spent FOUR HUNDRED dollars on books, silly husband somehow dropped a zero. Destroying the evidence since she was already placed on book probation, TJ decided to think of ways to curb her purchasing. The only way that would satisfy her active mind seemed to be exercising it by writing her own stories. A story turned into a novel, and a novel into a series. During the day TJ focuses on her household that is overrun with testosterone; one beefcake husband, one son that takes after beefcake husband, and two male dogs. In evening she taps away at her keyboard letting her mind play.
