Book Review of ROYAL ATLAS by @HJBellus

by HJ Bellus, USA TODAY Bestselling Author
Love struck me at the early age of five. The boy turned into a man, and I fell even deeper. Guy Webb had no idea my fragile heart belonged to him for so many years. He was too busy being my brother’s best friend and a star on the football field. He was my daydream, and consumed every single thought, but he was always one step from my reach.

Beartooth Ranch was our home. The rich ranch land raised us, fostered our laughs, losses, and even gained a new family member when Guy moved in for his sophomore year of high school.

I hid my love for years. But now he’s back. Guy Webb returned a broken soldier after serving his country all over the atlas. And now it’s my job to help him heal.

My family lost everything with his return and I can only hope I survive it.

Emotional and heartbreakingly beautiful
This book's layoutthe idea behind how the story was told, was very clever. It instantly reminded me of Nicholas Sparks, and I mean that as a very high compliment. To me, it's something he would do!
I loved Guy and Molly's story. It made me cry A LOT, laugh (so many smart-ass remarks!), and swoon. This was truly a good and emotional read, one you need to check out. I'd say it's HJ Bellus' best book, although I'm sure she'll wreck us even more with her next installment!

"I'd give you the world, Molly."

These characters, all of them, were very relate-able, down to earth, and funny. I connected with them from the very beginning which only made my emotions run on high even more while reading. And man, they sure went through a load of obstacles!
Guy Webb had a long road ahead of him and Molly did too. It was incredibly sad reading how much they were hurting! Their emotions and situations were written and developed very well, painfully so. That said, seeing their relationship blossom and seeing them both heal as the book progressed was heartwarming and completely fulfilling.

*Sigh* This was such a great book!!! It caused quite the book hangover afterwards!
Fair warning, though: Royal Atlas will make you cry, and more than once! (Totally worth it towards the end!)

"My world is complete now..."
