“I only see you, sweetheart.”

Oh, my goodness. CA Harms never disappoints. Right off that bat she made me cry, which is not something all authors pull off. I mean, in a matter of paragraphs, my heart sunk and broke. The way she described the pain and loss these characters encountered was so real and vivid that it gave me the chills. Real talent right there. I promise, CA Harms is an author you cannot miss!

Jackson and Bailey got introduced in book 1: Ryan’s Love. While you don’t need to read that one in order to enjoy this second installment in the Sawyer Brothers Series, I do recommend you grab it. This is a series that, in my opinion, by reading ALL the books in order, it will allow you to know all the characters and sort of see their stories build up even before their ‘official’ book.

“You got me, Bay. You always have me in your corner.”

Jackson was suffering from a loss that, while not exactly the same, Bailey had experienced. She understood. She knew the depth of his pain. Then, an unforeseen encounter brought back all that pain Bailey thought she had under control. At this point, Jackson could not sit back and see her hurting. And thanks to a little motivation from his brother, Noah, Jackson made his move. Let me just tell you, there’s nothing sexier than a jealous cowboy! Ha.

“I want you, Bailey. I have for too long. I screwed up because in the beginning I was the one that played games. But it stops now. We both feel this connection, so don’t try to pretend you don’t.”

Jackson was incredibly swoon-worthy! Gah! He was an alpha male, a COWBOY – that combination ALONE made me melt – kind, caring, a hard-worker….HOT. Yeah…did I mention swoon-worthy?

“You, baby. You’re my weakness.”

Jackson needed a feisty girl like Bailey in his life. She definitely kept him on his toes, but at the same time brought out the best in him. Their relationship was full of passion and there was no denying their attraction to each other. Like every couple, however, they had their bumps on the road, but those only made them stronger in the end. I never once doubted Jackson or his relationship with Bailey. They were great together; they clicked.

“You’re my girl. All I need and all I’ll ever want.”

From the very beginning, CA Harms had me wanting to read more and more. Needing to see how Bailey and Jackson’s story would unfold. Suffice it to say, I was hooked and in love with this book. And that ending!!! OMG. I need Noah’s book…yesterday!!!! Another must read and 5-star book from CA Harms!!

“There is no place I would rather be than here with you.”
