Author: Lisa de Jong
Series: A Flawed Love, #2
~ SYNOPSIS ~
I lent my heart to the bad boy, and he did exactly what I expected he would. He broke it.
And the guy I should have been with—he’s still here. He tries to take my mind off everything I’ve lost while showing me what I could have. I’m ready for a new start, to fall in love again … to do what I should have done in the first place.
Everything seems perfect.
Then the past comes walking back in. I thought I was over him, but one look and I know that’s not true. We went through too much together for those feelings to completely fade away.
When my past and present collide, how am I supposed to choose? They both love me, and I love them.
A heart will be broken … and it could be mine.

I saw this synopsis and fell in love! I love a triangle....and I knew that I would just have to jump into this book. I love triangles and I love the questions they make you ask yourself. First and foremost, make sure you read Lies Unspoken before reading this book!! This is the second book in the series, and you need to read the first!
~Love feels so good but hurts so bad. If I didn't think I could love him, the only question would be his room or mine.~
Lila is stuck between two men....and rightfully so. Since Blake has her heart but can't seem to stick around long enough to notice, and Pierce is her knight in shining armor, she doesn't appear to have an easy decision ahead of her. I love this about triangles....very real decisions have to be made, and very real emotions are put on the line.
Both guys have something different to offer Lila, but they are two very different men. and when she has this collision in her heart and all the feelings she has for these guys, it got sticky really quickly!! I loved the fact that I could feel her pull between both men....I felt her draw to Blake and how intense it was, and I felt her connection with Pierce and how sexy it was! Both of these men are HOT!!!
I had a hard time with her going back and forth between the guys, but completely understood her heart's dilemma because they both offered her things she thought she wanted. Sadly, her heart had one voice and her mind had another.
~There's something about a man who can kiss a woman and tell her everything he's feeling at the same time.~
This book ended up the way it should have.....with Lila with the man she was destined to be with. I am not sure I liked how quickly it ended with the other man, and how it was handled....but after reading the end, I understand why it did. Because the next book in the series has me wondering. I know WHO is getting their HEA in that one, but I am on the fence about it. I am very conflicted on how that is going to play out. This series is SO worth the read....it kept me engaged in the story and I didn't want to put it down. I read both books in the last two days. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it!!
