Hot, new, action-packed paranormal series alert!!!
Right from the very beginning Ms. Marta kicks things off with some action which captured my complete attention— Jasmine and Twitch had been kidnapped by Marcel in hopes of Twitch doing as he asked. Jasmine was a "sensitive" which meant she could sense other supernatural beings around her. Enter Eric. You see, Eric was working for Marcel, but undercover that is. The connection between him and Jasmine was very much there from the very beginning!
From the kidnapping to everything else that happened, this book only got better and better. There was never a dull moment! Clair Marta's writing style flowed smoothly, in my opinion, and I had no problems connecting with the characters or following the story line. I also truly enjoyed how the author developed the paranormal aspect along the way. When kicking off a paranormal series, all the characters' abilities (and weaknesses) need explained and Ms. Marta made it all clear, while not over-focusing on them...if that makes any sense, lol.
