Once again, AL Jackson delivers a beautifully written must-read novel! I could feel the anguish, the heartache, the passion sizzling right off the pages of this book.

This series, you guys, this...series!! If you're anything like me, you've binged on this series. I got all the previous books on audio and I DEVOURED them!! Through each one, we of course saw Zee, so I was highly anticipating his story because I knew there had to be so much more to his quiet demeanor. There had to be a reason why he was so closed off compared to the other guys. Well, there sure was a reason!!! One that made my heart break into a thousand pieces, but it also made me love him just as much as all the other guys!!
And then we had Alexis. Poor girl could not catch a break! She would not give up on her sister, she couldn't, and that had her finding herself in troublesome situations more often than not. Which ironically enough brought her to Zee and changed her life beyond what she could ever imagine.
"But what do you offer the boy who has everything?"
Zee could not fall for Alexis. He didn't have room for her in his life. I mean, he was busy enough living two lives as it was! How could he add such a huge distraction on top of everything he was going through?! Well, the chemistry between Alexis and Zee was too much to ignore. Then add Zee's need to keep her safe. Sure enough his plans went straight out the window. They formed a bond that was undeniable, but that did not mean things were easy. They faced battles after battles and the emotional turmoil was heavy!
Holy hell, what a book!!! While I am ecstatic with how everything unfolded, I am devastated this brings us the end to such a phenomenal series! I could honestly read about these characters forever! I cannot wait for the audiobook of STAND to release because I will be purchasing it and devouring it just as I did the ebook!! FIVE STARS!!
