Book Review: With A Twist by Sawyer Bennett

With A Twist
Author: Sawyer Bennett
Series: Last Call Series #4
Genre: Romance
~ SYNOPSIS ~
Wyatt Banks is ready to give one woman the world. Unfortunately, his job as a cop tends to interfere with other goals. When Wyatt is sent deep undercover to investigate a sex slave ring, he doesn't have time to do anything but focus on staying alive in a dark and dangerous underworld.

Wyatt isn't alone though in his quest to save the women that are being sold into sexual slavery.

His partner, FBI Agent Andrea Somerville, is immersed just as deeply as he is, and she’s the bait to lure the sex slavers out into the open, as she poses as an erotic dancer in an attempt to snare the enemy. But danger runs as high as the sparks between them, and now Wyatt is caught between the job he loves and the woman he wants.

5 Sexy Stars!

I must say, after reading this entire series, Wyatt has to be my favorite of the series. That doesn't mean I didn't love Hunter, Brody or Gavin any less....because they were all hot and swoony in their own right, but Wyatt was something else. He was a cool confidence, with an undercurrent of respect and swagger, mixed with a lot of sexiness!!! The way he carried himself and his morals....total hottie material right there!! Ugh! I loved him!!

Andrea is a hardworking FBI agent, following in her daddy's footsteps making her way up to her dream job within the bureau. She is a hardworking woman with a good head on her shoulders and she doesn't take crap. From anyone.

This book has a lot more action than any of the other Last Call books, and it was so fitting for Wyatt's character. He is a responsible, respectful and hardworking man. Meeting Andrea on the job makes for some good anticipation, but the buildup of their coming together is *soooo* good! I really liked seeing this relationship grow from partners in their working life to partners in their love lives. Their character growth was spot on and really relatable.

Andrea gets thrown into this job with Wyatt, but it's all undercover.....and let's just say that when something is thrown your way, and you don't know how to take it, roll with it! Their cohesiveness on the job was admirable; true professionals. But I must say that some situations they found themselves in were ones that made me smile, because I liked what it forced them to do. Or recognize.

~It seems absolutely ludicrous that this could be my life right at this moment, yet, here I am. Blow jobs for the greater good.~

It just was an easy going story that got better and better (and hotter and hotter!!!!) as the pages turned. Once their undercover operation was over....it's what happened under the covers that made for an amazing love story. Ok....not only under the covers, but still!!! They had this intense pull towards one another that made them really in sync with one another, and sometimes words weren't necessary. Being new to this relationship, however, did give them the normal questions...but they worked them out.

~And then I have to wonder...does it really matter? Is this going to go any further than the next several days I have with him? I would hope it would, because while the sex is phenomenal, it certainly isn't all there is to us. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that I'm not sure the sex would be as phenomenal if we didn't have an intense bond formed first through dire circumstances.~

With only ONE thing really coming between them, seeing how they worked out their relationship gave me nothing but smiles. True love shouldn't be hard work....and Andrea and Wyatt sure proved that. I loved the maturity of these characters and the way they handled themselves. I just really enjoyed this book. The anticipation, the buildup, the little bit of angst tossed in there.....yes, just yes. I admired Wyatt and Andrea's relationship and how it started, progressed and where they ended up. This will easily be a recommended book of mine.

~You fly here to see me, we just fucked like rabid animals, had an orgasm that almost made me pass out, and you wonder if i want you to stay?~

I love Sawyer Bennett's books. Not only are they easy to read, but they are never filled with unnecessary drama that make you wanna throw your kindle!! Not only easy to read, but so easy to fall in love with as well. Pick up this entire series. It is so worth it!!
