Author: Jessica Hawkins
Series: Night Fever #1
~ SYNOPSIS ~
Lola's heart already belongs to Johnny, but for him, she'd sell the devil her soul. Unfortunately, the devil wants something else.
When Lola Winters, a fiery waitress on California's Sunset Strip, meets a sexy stranger outside the bar where she works, she has no idea her life is about to change. Despite the fact that Lola's boyfriend is right inside, Beau Olivier's interest in her is unwavering. Because unbeknownst to her, he's decided he wants Lola. And in order to get her, he's willing to make Lola and Johnny's dreams come true.
A sordid proposition. A chance at a better life. A seduction that walks the line between comfort and humiliation, desire and resistance. He will own her--for one night. She will be his--for a price. Everyone involved knows it's wrong. But is that enough to stop them?
Sex, music, neon on the Sunset Strip--right in the middle of it all, he would have her. Come sunrise, he would let her go. At least, that was the plan.
Series: Night Fever #2
~ SYNOPSIS ~
With their dream within grasp, Johnny and Lola make an offer on Hey Joe—only to discover a million dollars doesn’t go as far as they’d thought. As the price of the bar rises and expenses pile up, Lola begins to question if this is what she really wants.
Lola knows she can solve their problems with one phone call, but she may risk going too far to have it all. Because she’s not dealing with just anyone—she’s dealing with a master. For Beau Olivier, there’s no such thing as too far. There is only conquest. There is only victory.
Beau and Lola already had their night together, but it wasn’t enough. They need more. And the more they need...the more they have to lose.

It’s ten years earlier and the night that changed everything. When Beau Olivier signs a contract that will deliver the first millions of his future fortune, all he wants is to celebrate with a beautiful woman—and no strings attached.
He enters Cat Shoppe on the Sunset Strip looking for anyone, but when he sees the kitten-eared girl on the strip club’s main stage, he knows he won’t leave without her.
Series: Night Fever #3
~ SYNOPSIS ~
Beau thought getting his power back from Lola meant he’d won the game, but all he did was teach her how to play. Now, she’s ready to take on the master himself, and only she knows the rules.
In order for Lola to get close enough to hurt him, she has to love him. It won’t be easy to love the devil, but it will be worth it—if it means sending him to hell where he belongs.
Series: Night Fever #4
~ SYNOPSIS ~
When you play with the devil, you'd better not turn your back.
Beau never intended to fall in love, but what was once his conquest has become his prize. Until he ends up in the same position he was ten years earlier—between Lola’s legs and begging to have her. So when she purposely disappears into thin air, leaving him empty-handed and alone, Beau is consumed with the need to find her.
As Lola gets farther from his reach, Beau is driven to the brink of insanity trying to get to her. When he finds himself at the ledge, he has to decide if he can let Lola go for good—or if he’s going to bring her down with him.
This is a SERIES review and the series overall gets a 4.5 star rating. I wont be rating these individually, but the series was FANTASTIC.
Having said that, I did review the first two books originally:
Night Fever
I ★loved★ them. Absolutely loved them. These books had so much going for them that I couldn't wait for more.
✔ I got Angst
✔ I got Drama
✔ I got more Angst
✔ I got serious Sexiness
✔ I got even more Angst
✔ I got Pain, Love, Anger and Joy
✔ I got an Alpha that didn't know when to QUIT!
Did I mention that there was some angst here....because there was a tad.
I got it all and this series was awesome!
Jessica Hawkins is a must-read author for me. I recommend her books on a daily basis, at least....and I always hear back good results. Her books are full of angst and alphas. Alphas that go after what they want, don't listen to others and make their own decisions. No matter how much crap they have to go through.
The Night Fever series was just that. A man that has found his kryptonite and wont accept the obvious. Lola was the one. The one that brought him to his knees and made him beg for more, but he wasn't going to accept it. He wasn't going to allow his vulnerability to show. He had no weaknesses and he could do whatever he wanted, because he had the power and the wealth to back him up.
Right?
Yeah....no.
~ Lola's power over him wouldn't go away just because he wished it would. That was becoming obvious.~
I love that we were dragged through the dirt with this one....we got deep and intense when the feelings started to emerge. All of the sudden, walls needed to break down. All the barriers: pity, pride, self preservation; all that stood in Lola and Beau's way to love, that had to break down into the very depths of their souls to truly move on and to love. Lola and Beau fought something that was indisputable. Undeniable. REAL. I really enjoyed seeing this side of the agreement that didn't go according to 'contract'.
~But if this is insanity, I like it here. Fuck, do I like it.~
This series is the perfect weekend read....you will get swallowed up and wont be able to put the book down. I could NOT pull myself away from these books. I made dinner, fed the kids and went to my room to finish. It's the type of series that you want to devour.....you want to just let your heart absorb the words. I can't recommend this series enough and want everyone to read it!!
Did I like the ending? Big fat NO. It ended too quickly and I wanted to soak it all in.....<sigh>. So good. Just so good. The emotions that Jessica evokes in me....aaack!! They just move me. I love the way she writes. It's so easy to follow and I can appreciate the depth that she tries to convey. Easily. Magnifique.
