Ok, so after finishing Clash and moving directly over to Grind, THIS book sealed the deal:
Sawyer Bennett is the BOMB.
This woman can write!!!! And by write, I mean she can make you feel everything....all the good times, the bad times, the sexy times and the painful times. She is brilliant!!! And, lemme tell ya.....those sexy times were all out, hands down SEXAY!!!! And if I haven't said it before, I will say it again: I love Cal. LOVE.HIM. He doesn't give up....and I love how much he cares! I love how hard he fights for her and what he feels is right for her, for him, for them.
~At the very least, I could probably fuck some sense in to her.~
We got a lot of drama going on in this series.....but the story, deep down, about Macy and her own demons completely sucked me in. Once again, the POV that this was told in was so different that it's definitely worth another mention. This entire series was intense, from the minute Cal and Macy met in the pantry, all the way to the very end. I was really concerned about Macy and how she was taking things, but I knew that something good was going to come out of all of this.
~If she thinks I'm giving this up...if she thinks I'm giving her up...she is about to be sorely disabused of that notion.~
This has to be one of my favorite 'endings' of SB's. She really has a knack when it comes to making you fall in love....but, her strength goes beyond that. Her words will move you, they will make you feel the intensity that her books deliver, every.single.time. This book was NO different, and I am so very glad I sat down and read it. I couldn't put it down and once I was finished, I was sad to see their story end, but absolutely LOVED their ending. It was so beautiful.
~I realize...her idea of closure and mine are two completely different things.~
